Cleaner of New Construction Homes

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated New Construction Cleaner to join our team. This role focuses on the detailed, first-time cleaning of newly built residential homes, stepping in as construction nears completion up to the final closing clean right before the house is sold to the homeowner. You will tackle construction-specific tasks such as vacuuming and wiping out cabinets, cleaning windows, shop-vacuuming sub-floors, sweeping, mopping and scraping debris from surfaces. Our crews meet each morning at a designated park-and-ride location, where you will leave your personal vehicle for the day. From there, you will carpool in a company-provided work van to all job sites throughout the day and be returned to the initial meeting spot after the schedule has been completed. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods and clean quickly with a high standard for detail, while working alongside a collaborative team.

Duties

  • Vacuum and wipe out cabinets in kitchens, bathrooms, and basements
  • Clean interior and exterior windows of newly built residential properties
  • Shop-Vac, sweep, and prepare sub-floors for flooring installation
  • Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop all hard surface flooring throughout the home
  • Scrape, scrub, and wash all surfaces to thoroughly remove various construction debris
  • Sweep, scrape, and power wash exterior concrete surfaces like driveways and patios
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction cleaning or a related field is preferred, but NOT mandatory (we provide full paid training)
  • Must have reliable personal transportation to get to and from the daily carpool location
  • Must be highly reliable, punctual, and a dedicated team player
  • Attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality, spotless results quickly
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including the ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift cleaning equipment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others in a fast paced environment

We are seeking a dedicated New Construction Window Cleaner to join our team. This role mainly focuses on the detailed, first-time cleaning of newly built residential homes. You will tackle construction-specific challenges such as removing drywall dust, caulk, paint overspray, construction adhesive, and window sticker residue to deliver a flawless, spotless view for the eventual homeowner. Our crews meet each morning at a designated park-and-ride location, where you will leave your personal vehicle for the day. From there, a Crew Lead will drive the team to all job sites throughout the day and return you to the initial meeting spot after the schedule has been completed. This position requires working both indoors and outdoors year round, so candidates must be completely comfortable working on ladders and enduring outdoor weather elements, including intense summer heat and cold winter conditions.

Duties

  • Clean windows of residential and commercial new construction buildings using appropriate tools and cleaning solutions
  • Perform custodial tasks related to window cleaning, including removing debris and ensuring cleanliness of window glass, tracks and frames
  • Utilize stackable and extension ladders to access windows at different heights
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile General Laborer to join our team. This role focuses on supporting our construction services by executing a variety of hands-on tasks in residential and commercial construction settings across Southeast Michigan. You will handle essential punch out and finishing tasks, including appliance installation, minor carpentry, drywall repair, and general handyman services to ensure newly built properties are flawless for handover. This position requires daily travel to various construction communities. Candidates must be highly adaptable regarding logistics; on some days, you will drive your personal vehicle directly to assigned sites, while on other days, you may meet up with a team member to travel together. Applicants must have a strong work ethic, a diverse manual labor skillset, and must consistently provide their own personal hand and power tools.

Duties

  • Perform professional appliance installations safely and accurately in newly built homes
  • Execute minor carpentry tasks and detailed trim or woodwork adjustments as needed
  • Complete seamless drywall repairs, patching, and surface prepping prior to final inspections
  • Provide general handyman and punch-out services to address a wide range of builder requests
  • Transport, load, and unload materials, equipment, and your personal tools at various job sites
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment adhering to all safety protocols
  • Coordinate daily with field supervisors to review task lists, project specs, and site assignments

Requirements

  • Proven experience in manual labor, construction support, or a related field is required

We are seeking a dedicated Model Home Cleaner to join our team. This part-time role focuses on maintaining the flawless cleanliness and presentation of fully completed, furnished model homes and on-site community sales offices used for client tours and builder operations. You will tackle detail-oriented cleaning tasks to keep these staged, high-end environments immaculate and welcoming for potential homebuyers. Unlike our crew positions, this role offers independent work, allowing you to manage your time efficiently across multiple construction communities. You will drive your own personal vehicle independently to assigned sites across our eastern territory, and you will be provided with all necessary cleaning equipment and supplies to keep with you in your vehicle.

Duties

  • Maintain the overall showroom-level cleanliness and presentation of finished model homes
  • Dust all surfaces thoroughly, including countertops, cabinetry, shelving, furniture, décor, and light fixtures
  • Vacuum all carpets and meticulously clean hard flooring (wood, laminate, luxury vinyl, tile)
  • Clean and sanitize kitchens and bathrooms, including fixtures, appliances, tubs, showers, and toilets
  • Clean interior glass, mirrors, and interior windows to ensure a spotless appearance
  • Remove trash and keep attached garages and office areas tidy and presentable
  • Lock, secure, and turn off lights in homes when work is completed, following specific site instructions
  • Monitor your inventory and notify management when cleaning supplies or tools need to be replenished

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a highly reliable personal vehicle with current insurance
  • Ability to travel independently to various job sites throughout the region, including but not limited to Macomb, Detroit, New Haven, Bloomfield Hills, and surrounding areas
  • Ability to work completely independently, stay on schedule, and manage your time efficiently

We are seeking a reliable, Experienced Power Washer to join our team. This full-time role focuses on cleaning indoor and outdoor surfaces at our clients’ newly built residential and commercial properties throughout the construction process. You will handle specialized construction cleanup, using professional machinery to wash surfaces such as driveways, garage floors, siding, basements, and porches year-round. Unlike our standard cleaning crews, you will typically work independently and manage your daily job details using our specialized routing apps. You will drive to assigned job sites and will be responsible for transporting and maintaining your essential gear. This position requires someone with a strong work ethic, a sharp eye for detail, and the physical stamina to handle heavy equipment in all outdoor weather elements.

Current Coverage Areas

Farmington to Howell and Linden to Ypsilanti.

Duties

  • Drive to assigned job sites efficiently using routing applications
  • Load, unload, and safely transport pressure washing equipment and tools
  • Operate pressure washer machinery to thoroughly clean diverse surfaces (driveways, siding, basements)
  • Inspect equipment daily for water supply, fuel, and proper working order
  • Perform meticulous quality checks on completed surfaces to ensure no missed spots remain
  • Coordinate directly with field supervisors or clients to review completed work
  • Follow strict safety procedures to protect yourself, team members, and client property
  • Accurately log billable hours and track job details using our mobile time-tracking app

Requirements

  • 1+ years of professional experience operating commercial pressure washing equipment
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and a highly reliable personal vehicle
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment (50+ pounds) and perform strenuous physical labor
  • Complete comfort working outdoors, year-round, in extreme summer heat and cold winter conditions
  • Quick learner with an excellent eye for detail and a positive, professional attitude
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and with field staff
  • Experience using digital scheduling or routing apps is preferred (training will be provided)
